TAKE POSITIVE ACTION

 If you want to walk on water you have to get out of the boat! I know, you weren't planning on miracles, you only want to change your life. But the principle is the same: if you keep doing what you have always been doing, you will get what you have always been getting. We all have our own personal behaviour patterns which can hold us back and restrict our action. If you want to make new things happen, you must be ready to change the way that you behave. This means being able to ask for what you want and then being prepared to follow through with assertive action. You may not have to get out of the boat but you will certainly have to be ready to rock it! Are you ready to take this risk? Yes, it can feel like a risk (let's face it, if it wasn't such a challenge you would have done it before wouldn't you?).

Think now about any positive action you could take that would make a significant change to your life. It doesn't have to be something huge, let it be a small step that you know it is possible to take. Why haven't you done this already? What have you been waiting for? Are you afraid that you might fail or that someone might not like you any more? Whose life are you living? Positive action makes you feel courageous. Decide to take an assertive step into your new life. You can do it!
