STOP TRYING TO BE PERFECT

When it's totally perfect I will be content; when I lose more weight, then I will be happy; I must look absolutely right; everything must be totally together ... I must be Superwoman.

  • Friends are coming to dinner. Do you have to clean the house, cook something exotic and complicated and wear yourself out? Or do you take a more relaxed approach and expect your friends to take you as they find you and share a simple, easy-to-prepare meal?
  • You are feeling exhausted. Do you carry on regardless? Or do you give up and go to bed?
  • Do you think that you would be happier and more successful if you lost weight?
  • Do you feel incomplete if you aren't wearing make-up?
  • Do you sometimes push yourself beyond your limits?
  • Is it important to you that people think that you are always in control?
  • Do you ever feel that you are just not good enough?
  • Would you describe yourself as a perfectionist?
