ATTRACT AMAZING RELATIONSHIPS
It is important to remember that you attract the type of relationship that you think you most deserve. If you act like a victim you will attract a bully (your energies will be magnetic to each other).
We are highly influenced by our parents' relationships, both with us and with each other. For example, if your parents were over-demanding of you when you were small you might still be creating relationships with people who ask too much of you; if your parents were emotionally close and supportive you are more likely to re-create such a relationship for yourself.
Our intimate relationships are always a reflection of our inner needs and expectations. If our parents had damaging relationship patterns then we might still be trying to work them out in our own relationships. There is nothing unusual about this; in fact we are all a product of our patterns.
The trick is to recognise where we are stuck and how we can change. And the key to change in relationships is the knowledge that it all begins with you.
You can never change anyone else; you can only change yourself. As you learn to love and respect yourself you will attract loving and respectful relationships.
All your relationships are a reflection of the one you have with yourself.
